Depending on how you use Setz, we may collect account information such as your email address, username, or other basic profile details if you create an account, along with the content you create or store in the app such as setlists, notes, and titles.

We may also automatically collect:

• device and app information, including device type, OS version, and app version;
• usage information, such as screens viewed and feature usage;
• diagnostic logs, timestamps, and crash reports;
• device identifiers used for security, analytics, and debugging.

We do not collect sensitive data like precise GPS location unless you explicitly grant permission and we clearly ask for it.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• provide, maintain, and improve the service;
• save and sync your setlists and preferences;
• monitor performance, debug issues, and prevent abuse or fraud;
• provide customer support and respond to requests;
• comply with legal obligations.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information in limited situations.

Service providers that help us operate the service, including hosting and storage providers, crash reporting and performance monitoring providers, and analytics providers if used, may receive information as needed to perform services for us under contractual restrictions.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or government requests; enforce our Terms; detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Setz, our users, or the public.

If Setz is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to standard confidentiality protections.

Data Retention

We keep information only as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data. Some information may still be retained for legal, security, or operational reasons.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100 percent secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices and Controls

You can:

• manage certain permissions, like notifications, in your iPhone Settings;
• limit data collection by uninstalling the app;
• request access to or deletion of your data.

If analytics are used, we may also provide opt-out controls where required by law.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, and request deletion of your information.

Children's Privacy

Setz is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

International Users

If you access the service from outside the United States, your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. Data protection laws may differ from those in your location.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the last updated date and provide additional notice if required by law. Your continued use of the service after an update means you accept the updated policy.
